A figure dying;
A diming light.
One brought to their knees;
Now cannot fight.
They breathe in silence;
short steady heaves.
Bringing to their minds;
All the memories.
Loved ones dear to their hearts;
Good times and bad to recall.
A feeling of release;
Of joy unfound.
Until the light dims away;
Leaving the body without sound.
