A plant is simplistic, yet Unsurpassed by all living creatures. Overlooked by most, A plant holds the truths that we seek, In the beauty it bestows. It’s leaves shine in the sun As a beacon of truth and justice. Standing tall and noble it overlooks The pain and suffering the world sees. The stem of these monumental beauties Is able to withstand the much unneeded abuse as no other creature can in a yet civilized world, a World which we call reality Its flowers, oh, its flowers Are so beautiful, complex, yet Simple in their own ways That even the most ill hearted must Stop and aw in amazement at the Beauty before them The secret in these plants does not lie In their beauty, my friend, but in their Actions. These cornucopia’s of emotion Need not say anything, but yet Seem to say just the right thing At just the right time They ask for no money, materials items, Nor fancy arrangements, but simply A brief moment in your busy day To share the love and joy that they bring To a once forgettable reality. Let Nature be your guide, and one will never get lost. |
