This was written about last night and i dream i had about a friend who died a long time ago
R.I.P. Dan i will always love you

I dreamt of the night sky,
Some where through the endless black,
I could still feel you there,
Your voice called to my broken heart,
Only making me miss you more,
On the horizon the moon was rising,
Strangely it reminded me of your sking,
Pale as snow fall and soft as a cloud,
Looking across a moonlit winter field I cried,
Memories of us came rushing in,
Timeless like the gentle whisper of your breath,
Comforting like the warmth of your hands,
I really missed you for the first time,
The moments we've shared in silver nightlights,
I want to with you and it would be easy,
But who would i be leaving behind?
The only person since you who made me feel real,
I miss you and you were my first real angel,
With dreamy words I spoke to the night sky,
Hoping that you could still hear,
Want you to know everything i still feel,
In a fog of sleepy wonder I opened my eyes,
A dream, it eas only a dream this time,
I threw on my coat with teary eyes,
Grabbing your picture i ran out my door,
Stumbling for the front door to see the sky,
In a sad and dreamy amazement i could hear you,
Telkling me it was going to be ok one day,
The cold was freezing my hopeless tears,
Somehow I made to be, I woke there in the moring,
Grasping a picture of us in gloved hands,
I could barelly remember why my coat was on,
Then the night sky flooded my dimly awakening mind,
'We'll be together some beautiful day",
"And i will still make everything ok",
Was it just a dream this time?

Hi Ginners,

I am sure wherever he may be now, he would still know how much you care for him ...
This is such sweet sorrow ...

... Very beautiful in a sad sort of way.  I envy you your talent.  And I'm sorry for the loss...
