In an upside-down garden

I try to see things your way,
I've tried to more than once,
but our vision used to be the same,
and that's something I've lost.

Willingly, I've lost the thing,
that makes you feel like nothing,
Willingly, I've gotten past that,
and I don't seem to see a thing.

I don't see what could make you feel,
like your nothing all to special,
because unless I've gone crazy,
your more special than myself.

But I guess you won't know that,
I rarely share my thoughts with you,
because you chose her over me,
and there's nothing I can do.

I don't think she could handle you,
and actually, neither do they,
but if she makes you happy,
then I won't have it any other way.

I've got two months to say goodbye to you,
because I might never see you again,
and I'm sad to say that I never really knew,
what it was like to be your friend.

I don't think she could handle you,
and how your thoughts seem to ride,
all those dreams about your ex's,
and the letter about suicide.

I don't think she could handle you,
but there's nothing I can do,
because I know I could deal with that,
I used to be just like you.

(I just thought that I should tell you, this isn't about Justin)

I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to. I never thought that I couldn't.

Life is what happens when you're making ot

Okay, just re reading this, second to last stanza, last line, letter should be letters, meaning multiple.  But I don't feel like............. I gotta go.

I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to.  I never thought that I couldn't.

I think this is a very nice poem, it's hard giving someone up without ever having them...but I think you are brave when you say, that if it makes him happy, you won't have it any pther way.

Yeah...this is a brave poem, I likes it.

thanks/ Funny, how I've known him for almost nine years, and I've got two months untill I leave, and I still have no idea as to who he is inside, but I have to give him up.

I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to.  I never thought that I couldn't.

Hey,
Great job of expressing this all in this poem.  Do you care to share anymore details about this??

Not a bad job on this.  The situation isn't too nice, if you ever need someone to talk to just email me.
I thought the poem was alright, but you've done better.

Nicely done here Allysa....hope all works out for you. If it doesn't.....tap dance....that always works out.
