I’m sick with boredom.
A lonesome phantom,
I’m missing Autumn
with every atom.
By every photo
I’m made disheartened.
Her hair – so auburn!
Her heart – so ardent!

As thought some potion
gave me new passion,
with strange emotion,
I had a crush then.
I loved the notion
that we were rushing,--
each movement -- cautious!
Her cheeks were blushing!

She was my lover,
but now it’s over.
With her, I hovered,--
I’m sinking lower.
I loathe love often,--
more with each hour.
Her eyes then softened,--
now, they devour!

Ouch, thats a sad one there. Sounds like an ode to a lost love? Pain doesn't last forever though, just seems like it...

Seems like she ~tortures~ him now!
Oucho... that can hurt.
Nice to read from you again, Master.

Nice nice nice. These are the things I like to read, not the subject but the writing itself. The whole theme was great, Im totally always bored.

I loved those lines very much. You put an interesting twist on love poems...

and i'm certain that if i drive into those trees, it would make less of a mess, than she's made of me...

I actually thought it rocked. I really enjoyed this poem. I think you should write in this style more. Sorry for the loss...
