ValenTankas Of Olde ~*Marge Tindal*~  From Poe to Lenore 'Merely this and nothing more' Breezes blow her name 'Tis the wind and nothing more.' 'Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore." ' ~*~ Oh, 'Annabel-Lee' 'In this kingdom by the sea' 'The stars never rise' but hold you in great surprise 'darling, my life and my bride.' ~*~ 'She covered me warm' 'When the light was extinguished' Lit my heart at best 'For it sparkles with Annie' 'Of the love of my Annie—' *A Valentine or two 'tweaked' with a little Poetic license. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
