precious commodity
commodity? strange term
meant for buying, selling, trading
owning
not something one does
with friends
expecting to keep them

Friends
more precious than gold
when it’s cold
when it’s hard
when life’s great, as well

Friends
for smiling
for weeping
for laughing

I’d like to be your friend,
will you be mine?
