               “ “REMEMBER ABOUT WHEN””

                              by

I remember about when, like the first time we met,
        an experience to behold,
                one I’ll never forget…
When I looked at your face, it shone with loves caring,
and I thought about your tenderness,
                so very appealing…

But I sensed a touch, of sadness in your eyes,
perhaps a time that had passed,
                and saying too many goodbyes…
You keep it inside, something held within,
I asked you to share it,
                as surely it’s not a sin…

You never did tell me, what was wrong,
        and now my heart,
                sings its own sad song…
But love you I do, my feelings are no lessor,
        for my emotions still take,
                their own little detour…

So now I’m deep, within my own thought,
        trying to occupy your desires,
                because mine are caught…
But I really don’t know, it can’t be just my pen,
        for all I do is,
                “Remember About When”…

*sigh*

Sometimes, a sigh is enough for a reply don't you think? This is wonderful Bill.

*sigh*

Bill

Through life's journey, remembering about when is all we have.  Nicely done.  Enjoyed your writing.

Remembering "when"... brings back some pretty special times, doesn't it?  Reminiscing is special indeed... Lovely words, BCI...

Evening Bill. . .

I'm with Poet deVine. . . I believe that a *sigh* will do nicely here. . .

BC,

Sad one here my friend.  Sometimes all we can do is remember.  Lovely thoughts.

Won't a bump
be mighty fine
Another trip
around the forum
cause I think
it's awful boring
without a little
bump or two
Here's one from me
just for you!

Happy Bumpintine!

Are we having fun yet?

Bill...
To some of us, memories are all that is left, so we cherish them, but wish they could have just been a little more....

Poet deVine - I do accept a sigh, as one sigh says more than one thousand words. Thank you Poet deVine.

Ariana - Your thoughts say a lot, and I do thank you.

nakdthoughts - one sigh from your heart is all that is needed for a reply. Thank you.

Nan - to remember does bring back some really special times. Thanks Nancy.

suthern - thank you for your reply, and a wistful beauty it may be.

Sven - this poem is a sigh, and I thank you Sven, and everyone that enjoyed it.

Lone Wolf - A'hh yes, sad indeed, when all we can do is remember.

StumperDaBumper - I do thank you Bumper, for that trip.

nakdthoughts - well, just think about it. Caught....but when?

Sunny - memories, memories to be cherished, but somehow they never last to not become just a memory.
