                     Simply

Simply,
You wrote your name
on my heart in red.

You wrote your name
on my dreams in gold.

You wrote your name
on your good-bye to me
in blues and greys.

...Then you broke all my crayons.

Athena, I like it!  I really do.  I especially love the ending to your poem.

Next time toss the crayons and pass out permanent markers. I enjoyed this one much and I too like the ending.
