The victim stood there trembling His bowels had turned to water This time he was rememb'ring His home and lovely daughter Sunshine's sword hit the light That shone through clouded skies It sang with power and gleamed with might The victim's gorge did rise She parried first then gave a thrust The victim's will undone She wrote in steel that you must trust The daughter of the sun The victim trembled longingly Defeat could not concede Nor take back the words so cunningly Penned to start this deed His only hope compassion Upon her sword he fell As Sunshine moved with passion And blood began to swell She deftly backed, saluted And raised her sword to him A faster death could not be mooted The future looked now grim Then Kethry came onto the field To see the wound was dressed The crowd called for blood to wield And did not look impressed Kethry gave a knowing glance To the throne on high Emperor Ron, raised thumbs askance To battle on, they must comply The victim stood a crumbling From the flesh wound he sustained In the distance thunder rumbling The heavens opened and it rained To be continued...
