Along The Line Man Became Civilized

Behold the beauty before me
brushed swept sky’s of crimson hues. So
tenderly the orb of day
embarks upon its journey steadily
coming guaranteed.

Whimsical breeze dancing
through semi baron trees tossing brightly
colored leaves into the air
for one last dance.

Coming awake Nature stirs,
soft melodies begin to fill stilled air, upon
the ground dew kissed, the
creatures of the land tip toe with
careful step.

Humanity of yet does not own
this day, the moment belongs to serenity
and enables those who wish
to enjoy the awesome beauty beheld before
them in complete peace.

If not for what man thinks
is important they earth would dance in
sheer delight before us day
and night, but some were along the line
man became civilized.

The moral intellectual
achievement’s of mans culture has destroyed
and pushed Nature to the brink
of none existence and calamity. Becoming
masters of the earth rather
than partners has actually ensured are
downfall and demise.

Forgetting that if cherished
Nature could sustain life completely
and fulfill your hearts
desires with pure joy and contentment.

By meager means man could
exist, dwelling in harmony and the spirit
could grow to its fullest
with just they abundance the earth
has to offer.

But some were along the line man
became civilized.

“Oh” to contemplate what “if”
we took a different path, made different choices,
what if!

This is a repost from the corner pub, I thought maybe I should post it here too, thank you.

This is a beautiful piece. Why did we have to become "civilized"??

Well, I guess I would miss my computer a little   Thanks for posting.

Hi, LoveBug,

Thank you for your kind reply, I think its not a matter of becoming civilized as much as some of the things that people have forgotten, alot of loving others and how we treat our fellow man, plus and this is big with me the destruction of the earth has gotten way out of hand or at least thats what I think and I would be lost without this computer hehe. Thanks again.

Love, Cerenity

IT is quite sad that we have lost touch with nature, maybe one day we will learn the errors of our ways. A fantastic poem, with much food for thought.

Cerenity this poem is filled with truth. As man continues to build in technological achievement he also takes something away....not all accomplishments are bad but there are those that hurt the earth and that is where i agree with you......ethome

Excellent Cerenity, we must never forget who we are, or we will become who we were. . .

Hi
Ethome,Victoria,Sven

Thank you to all of you, positive growth in any manor is good unless it harms something in return, thats when the brakes SHOULD be pushed and a second look at the progress be challenaged, thank you again.
