Romantic Dinner
By Richard Maxfield
7-4-2000

Steak cooked to perfection
On the charcoal grill
Wine at the table
Slightly chilled

Fresh baked bread
Veggies galore
A wonderful meal
I have in store

Bake potato
With salad too
Table set with china
Not much more to do

Candles burning
Flickering light
Every thing is ready
For this wondrous night

Dinner is served
As I take my seat
Every thing perfect
Ready to eat

What a romantic dinner
And it was fun
Start to eat
My dinner for one

Oh, you said it so well. Sad that it had to be for only one. Hopefully when the world finds out how good you cook then it will be for two.

I have to laugh now, but this actually happened to me...only instead of a dinner for one? I still managed a dinner for two. (dogs LOVE sirloin) I kept the wine for me, though. Hugs to you.
