(Apologys to DP)

You

Tantalize
Mesmerize
I idolize
Your eyes
Your sighs
Your cries
Can't disguise
No matter what the guise
No lies

There are places inside our souls -
that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.

- No surprise -
to find a deeply felt love poem beneath your name!

I enjoyed this very much!

Thank you all  - I stole so many words from 'you have my heart' more words were hers than mine - thanks again to you all

oh geez.... i didn't even SEE this!! this is really well done, Bill! apologies? no way!! i'm honored to have inspired you with one of my poems. i like this a lot... it's simplicity speaks love in volumes!

(i wish it was "you have my heart"... it was "you OWN my heart"... OUCH! lol.. maybe one day it will be "you have my heart" and later, i'll write a piece called "you had my heart" and then after that, i could pen a verse entitled, "heart? what heart?", followed up with a little country tune called, "i got a stone cold heart right here in virginny!"  .. hehe... i'm having fun with this...)

but anyway, loved it! really!

- all you can ever really ask out of life is a sincere apology and some decent poetry -
