Wait Two lyricists (Alan & Marilyn Bergman) and Composer Michel Legrand - Have captivated me with their collaborations on so many occasions that I cannot think of sentiments that more closely match my own. Below is their Lyric from Streisand's "A Love like Ours" album And below that - what it inspired from me. Wait Wait ... before you take another breath We've lived another moment of our lives And now is fast becoming then Wait ... before you take your lips from mine How quickly where we are is where we've been And give is given Once ... before I knew that I'd be yours A moment didn't seem a thing at all Just like a penny at a fair Once... I never dreamed there'd come a time When time would mean another day Another week another year with you! Forever doesn't mean forever any-more Wait ... before we take another breath Before you take your lips away from mine And where we are is where we've been Wait ... when you're in love the way we are When every kiss and every touch And ever night is like a dream come true It's then you realize how small forever is As now I do That's why I treasure all the moments of my life With you ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Before You Take Another Breath Before you take another breath The way you take my breath away I simply have to say You're all I need each single day Because I've learned the truth of love The way your smile just warms my heart I've become your victim as You're the way my day just starts Before we breathe another breath As you embrace and kiss my sighs Fall into moments' death Look once again into my eyes For though we've come and though we've gone Before we came together thus I knew before we shared a kiss Somehow fate decreed that we'd be us Before the night that's drawing nigh When darkness cloaks our quiet place Know forever's ours to share And watch me memorize your face There are places inside our souls - that have never been touched. Mark - My humble thanks sir - I can only recommend their lyrics to you - such as "What are you doing the rest of your life" and 'Watch what happens" and so many others - I would be surprised if they did not inspire a romantic like you Karilea- Me teach? - if you say so - - thanks - I do so appreciate you Paula - Martie - Coco - You've each found different verses thai caught you - and that lines from 4 of 5 and quoted - is such a beautiful compliment I am speechless - It's true I am especially happy with what I've done here - and (I must say) surprised at myself for how well it came out so your words just encourage me more - I hope I can keep it up.
