[hours with no I's sorry, no see.] if you feel inclined to take the time as eye lie around the Mukilteo bend the San Jaun Straits seem lonely now without my brother little winds are cold & bring no story chimes it's another despicable December on an alluring silent night a heavenly sky and the moonlights touching shore most places ‘round the globe tonight there’s spell binding scenes I know but for Heaven’s sake so far from feeling right . Lucky~ Thank you, sweet poet. I slept through the night and upon awakening this morning was caught by the beauty of this piece. It sent me on a search for the San Juan Straits of Puget Sound .. and the history of the 'War of Pigs'. Oh, how much I learned of this historic stretch of mostly submerged mountainous region. FASCINATING .... Then I found the beautiful Lighthouse of Mukilteo (built 1902) and other fantastic lighhouses of this Washington area. *"Mukilteo was the site of the 1855 Peace Treaty signed between Territorial Governor Isaac Stevens and 82 Indian Leaders representing 22 tribes." I thank you for the chance to study this historic area. And then poof ! ... your lovely write was gone. Thank you so much for returning this piece so that I can copy it to the files I keep of you. Got your e-mail ... *hugs* and all that jazz to you and Rosemary. Marge - we both needed that hug! Thanks for asking him to put his poem back in! You should see the waters - and the islands in the distance - and all the wonders we have seen, that we probably will never see again - But most of all, Dale's brother Greg, who just died; and their times on the isolated beaches there, where he and I also went ... And once, when he lost his car keys in the sand, and I had cut my foot badly on some glass, and still have the scar - well, dear, that's another story! The spiritual wind that holds survivors aloft, plants the seeds from which bloom new hope ... R.J.G. |

Dale--You are the one that is a scoundrel..you know. This morning I tried to figure out if those seven words had some meaning that I didn't see...that Bill is a sensitive guy and sees things that I don't see, but I decided you had deleted (you have done it before, much to my consternation)...anyway I was going to say something, then thought it was your choice...I'm glad you put it back for me to see...and thanks Marge for the lovely pic. ` You are a darling - and my deepest sweetheart - and I'm so sorry for your grief over the loss of your little brother Greg. Knowing him from the age of ten, and through his marriage, and his six children; the loss of two babies, Stephen and Stephanie, and his sweet wife's confidences to me, and then his death at the age of 46, from lung cancer - I grieve too. I'm so sorry for all your griefs. My love for your will never end. Marge, Thank you again and the "E" too... We were at that lighthouse in Mukilteo just months ago. Nice of you to look into it. Rosemary, You and Marge always need hugs... Sorry Marge your a little far away but I'll send ya a big one. AS for you Rosemary... I'm coming ta get cha. Martie, You are always looking at words which might of had some meaning missed... sorry 'bout the consternation... anyway glad you caught me.
