Wise words at her disposal
She's at the starting gate
Put forth ideas of her proposal
With implicit trust in fate

She's lifting up her pen to write
Her muse is shining hotly bright

Encapsulating sorrow's plight
In the magic of her rite

She's lifting up her pen to write
Standing tall against the night

Her muse is shining hotly bright
As she reveals wisdom's insight

Holding power as sacred right
Encapsulating sorrow's plight

As she reveals wisdom's insight
She's lifting up her pen to write

Completes the marathon of write
Her muse is shining hotly bright

Surrendering all to sacred rite
She doffs her hat and bids goodnight

Wise words at her disposal
She's at the closing gate
Puts forth the care in her proposal
Implicitly trusts in fate

She's lifting up her pen to write…

Kethry, you have almost captured the elusive Doreen...and you have done a wondrous job...

Kethry, this is a beautifully written poem. Utterly wonderful, and I love it. A really great portrait you've painted here.
Take care

That's Doreen..  I wish that I could pick up a pen and the words flow as beautifully as they do from Doreen.  Nice piece hon.

BRAVO, Bravo Kethry....

You're so right. Everytime I read one of her pieces, it's always
packed with so much wisdom and wit.
She is a wonderful poet.
And so are you Kethry...you've done a great job with this one!

Sunshine,
Well it was a bit like trying to capture stardust, but I'm glad you think I reflected her semi-accurately

Nan, I agree she deserves this "blue" or "read"

'Deer,
Yeppers she is indescribile, like viewing the universe through the wrong end of a telescope,(everything's in there but it's not viewable to the naked eye. My poetry's indescribable too (for a different reason  )

Mushy,
With you on her side how can she go wrong. Btw she's charming is that why you uttered it.

Ladycat,
as do I

Wil,
considering that these words come from the master of right I'm sure she will be pleased.

Sven,
I know! I got it from you remember

Irie,
Well I think she's won poet in a million.

Debbie,
You can write like me all you need is a brain more convolulted  . Doreen has one of the most convoluted brains I've ever seen (except for Leonardo Da Vinci)

Doreen,
If I could take your essence, bottle it and "thin"
sell it to the public as cures for everythin'
I think I'd make my fortune for all would deign to see
the world in all it's beauty and pure "poertree"
But your elusive muse, captures me instead
in copying you my brain hurts I'd better go to bed.
See what your inspiration, does to me tonight!
I hope you don't catch Sven's plague, as you go on with rite.

Live well
Kethry
