You rushed in like the stormy tide
And filled my hollow heart inside
A special love is what you made me feel
Now everyday when I awake
A heartfelt promise I do make
To give you all my love with zest and zeal..

And as my eyes begin to trace
The handsome features of your face
Such joyful tears flow from me like a stream
And when we join ourselves as one
Soft echos speak in unison
Proclaiming all the thoughts that lovers dream..

Each kiss from you is like a gem
Which makes me treasure all of them
To keep within the chambers of my heart
Your slightest glance gives me a rush
With waves of love so rich and plush
They ripple through my every body part..

And through all our days together
Sunny skies and cloudy weather
You've always kept your love so true and real
You rushed in like the stormy tide
You filled my hollow heart inside
An endless love is what I'll always feel..

Well done! Wonderfully written, love the meter and rhyme of this one, flows so smoothly and reads well. This is one of those poems that needs to be read out loud.
