"My Best Friend"

Your my best friend, always will be
We've shared love, laughter, and tears
To my great pleasure
We have grown closer over the years

You've been such a great friend to me
At times you seem to have hidden angel wings
Our friendship reminds me of a flower
Starting off as a seed, blossomed into a magnificent tree

As you can see
You are a very special person to me
I can only hope
You feel the same way towards me

I feel lucky to have met you
Without our friendship
I'd feel lost without you
When I think of you, I smile

That's how best friends are supposed to be
I am grateful that is how it is with you and me
Let us remain friends till the end of time
This is one wish I hope with all my heart comes true

Best friends are true gems....rare and hard to find.
I have one of these gems, going on 21 years now, and I cherish her.

Wonderful poem you've penned and Welcome to Passions Lisa.
