The beauty of your soft blue eyes
The touch of your blonde hair
Reminds me of the lightest skies
The smell of heavens air.

Softness in your timid voice
That warming sense I feel
As if I really had a choice
My heart you had to steal

You had me from the very start
No other had control
That you and I are one in part
More than I’ve yet to know

For my blood flows through your sweet veins
The essence of my life
And in my heart a key contained
A fathers love that’s right
For an eternity

Nothing sweeter than the love of a father that is willing to show it so openly.  Excellent write from you and I just know that she is going to love it as well as you for it.  Nice to see a poem such as this in here.

Thank you Mark.
Serenity It's different the one I had shown You much more how I feel. First time I've ever written a poem for my daughter. Hope she likes it.
Thanks,
Rich

How could she not like it, Rich?   It's beautiful.

"The beauty of your soft blue eyes
The touch of your blonde hair
Reminds me of the lightest skies
The smell of heavens air."

The smell of heaven's air...what a totally original and lovely line! This poem is to be treasured, Rich. Thank you ~
