For Loves' Sake

The world spins in the star spangled night
The stars shimmer and grace us with their light
While the moon dressed in her silver gown glows
Giving us her extra special nightime show
Breathing the scents of the evening air
Apart in bodies but our spirits are there
For loves' sake we will take to the sky
For loves sake we will learn to fly

The sea is mighty and the oceans are so deep
The wind carries my soul to you for you to keep
The waves may crash and the storms may rage
The others here are just actors on a stage
The stars that shine above my head
Also sparkle in the night over your bed
For loves' sake we touch the night
For loves' sake we breathe the light

The sky is vast so high and somethimes blue
The clouds drift slowly by taking my love to you
Each breath of breeze bears to you my kiss
While the soft warmth tells of what I miss
The smile of the sun is in my eyes
And you can hear my hopeful sighs
For loves' sake we meet and meld together
For loves' sake we will love forever

Marsha, this is a beautiful love poem. You paint some beautiful images with your words. Keep up the great work!

LoveBug, thank you I'm glad that you like it, I'm actually surprised it came out as well as it did. Normally I write my poems out or I type them onto the word programm. Not this one, I typed it straight onto the screen, I didn't even have a title. Which is why I'm pleasantly surprised that this is even readable.
Thank you anyway

Wynter, I'm very pleased you like it, as I was saying wherever this came from, the magic poet fairy I think, deserves the praise not me. Thank you and if i see her I'll thank her.

Daniel  J D, thank you muchly. It is appreciated particually when I know that since I made no effort I don't deserve praise. I'm pleased you enjoyed it.

Ethome, thank you very much.
Ahhh! But I don't need them now, I've been down to the childrens ward and gathered a load of the lazy little imps. Well they were just lying around down there, and I've set up a counterfieting ring. I've got them turning out superlatives by the bucket load. So psst I can do you a very nice line in utterly terrifics or for a man of taste and discernment there's some divines going begging.
Oh and how did you do that to the screen, that looks like a useful trick.

Take care

Kari, it does? I'm glad you like it love, so the magic poem fairy has worked good, it's time she earned her keep!   (Kari you know what it's like, when she's not asking for the latest go faster stripes on her wings she wants a new wand.)
Take care love
