silver glove of velvet touch
a lady ~ fair ~ a gaze of pond
a single taper lessens dark
a crescent moon.....a hint of blush.

spears of aloe beg to heal
horn of plenty......bowl of salt
seductive ~ fog ~ a blanket dream
fruits of harvest...fruit, surreal...

four o clocks in waft perfume
a breeze inspired shimmies leaves
a water's trickle, giggling,
hibiscus--proud, enough to bloom.

Papaya plays in silhouette
(I feel the ground beneath my feet.)
I raise my arms in claim of sky.
In awe, I dance the twinkling...

Serenity~

Tripping the blue fandango
Across a midnight sky
Play your castanets, girl
as you traipse on by

'I raise my arms in claim of sky.
In awe, I dance the twinkling...'

This is a delight.

Sounds like my garden...I will look for the dancing maiden. Your poem is wonderful, enjoyed it, and was wanting more.

Your imagery is perfection. This is my favorite line, I actually grow these:
"four o clocks in waft perfume"

"When red-haired girls scamper like roses
over the rain-green grass,
and the sun drips honey.""

..your poetry is so unique and I love reading your work.

I read a lady, working, coming home & at nightfall, outside under the Heavens dancing the 'twinkling'.  Liked this lots.  Marcy

The only two things better than this title are of course the beautiful verse (and I love this style from you btw) and of course the light of sheer delight from the poet herself. Beautiful my friend. I really enjoyed watching you do your little dance with such a lovely smile written on your face.

Keep on dancing then, cause there's magic in your dance that has been translated here by your pen
