OOOPS...there I go again
Thinking of you

Just when I think
I have you under control
Locked out of sight
The pain a lessening blow

OOOPS...there I go again
Thinking of you

Hoping for a reprieve
Wishing for a sign
That you still care
Even when I know it won't be

OOOPS...there I go again
Thinking of you

And the pain of it
Just takes my breath away
Tell me what I did
To deserve this

OOOPS...there I go again
Thinking of you

Will there ever come a day
When you arent here
Filling my head
Killing my heart

OOOPS...there I go again
Thinking
Thinking of you

i do so know the feeling. i kick myself when i think of that special someone that i REALLY don'twant to think about.

well penned. very structured.

i don't know if you meant it like this, but i read the chorus to the rhythm of "oops i did it again".   it just fits!

I am reminded of the immortal words of Socrates who said, "I drank what?"

Paula,
These are feelings I am so accustomed to. Take heart, I am here and if you want to talk, just email me. Loved the feeling of the poem.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Oops..There I go again..

I love that.. Its really something I can relate too.. Very well done.

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

It can be very hard to remove that certain someone from everyday thought.  The real challenge, I suppose is how we deal with the feeling, the memory, that seems to haunt us.
Just remember... into every life, a little 'oops' must fall
Well said, Paula.  A poem for reflection.

Paula, this is a really well written poem, sorry you're hurting, but you'll get there in the end. And this is such a well written piece.
Take care

Ah yes....That awful curse of visions and memories.

You've expressed your self well Paula.....
I love the way you've put this together.
Well done!

Oops I've done that to
Why, even when our lives are content and we are happy we still look back and Oops there we go again thinking of them, I hate that.
my ex from a long time ago who was abusive still has that Oopsing effect on me sometimes and I can't explain why..sorry enough rambling
You put it quite well Paula

Paula, the way you delivered this piece is fresh, and creative...thoughts of past love can be haunting, your account of those reflections create a rewarding read.
