Lying back,
Listening to this song,
So full of memories,
I am taken back
To when I discovered
Your face.
Closing my eyes,
I can still feel
Those brand new emotions,
Those strange feelings
Of infatuation,
And those completely incurable
Smiles of new love.
Nowhere else in the world
Will you find
Such extreme frivolity;
Such desperate eccentricities.
Never before has there been
And never again will there be
Such fervor,
Such intense enthusiasm.
I find that the words
Seem to flow incessantly
Now that I know of you
And the love you have to offer.
As long as I live,
I will not let go
Of this number.

Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these: 'it might have been.' -John Greenleaf Whittier

Sing a song
eternal
in the heights
of noted
lyrics as two
lovers find
the harmony
that so seldom
sees the baton
as cresendo's
halt the passing
of half beats
and crash down
in tremors
of bass in
the midst
of arias

SEA:  why, thank you!  I'm glad I could make you recall some good times!

Mark:  very impressive, my friend.  You came up with that rather quickly.  I must hand it to you, you are an excellent writer.

Good stuff here. Funny thing is, music can do such amazing things with your memories. Right now I can't listen to the songs that I was loving the most, waiting to see him, cause it takes me back to that happy anticipation that was destroyed. Very powerful, the effects of music, and the effects of love. Good combination for your poem.

SnowPants~
This is a neat tune.
Memories are written in the heart.

When love walks your way
the melody begins ...
sung in the heart
of a new found friend.

snowpants,
Love it! You have done it again, it is whispers in my ears. Well written, keep that pen going.

"So full of memories,
I am taken back
To when I discovered
Your face.
Closing my eyes,
I can still feel
Those brand new emotions,
Those strange feelings"

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
