NEW YEAR'S CELEBRATION
Ring
Out the old
ring

in the new
for friendships
start with not much
ado.    Now nothing
ventured a one thing
gained, the time has
come be unrestrained.
The party's here so let's
All share, kisses and wishes rain
in the air.   The New Year comes
let all praises sing, and let the bells go
ding dong
ding

Well Kethry....I had NO doubt at all that you would ring OUR bells with your entry when I saw you had accepted and you did that and so much more.  The verse alone is wonderful but the way you paint the image to fit in with them is so PERFECT....you do have it goin on girl.  Must be something in the air down there.  Thank you so much for accepting and Chiming in with such a superb piece.

Thanks for your kind responses everyone. At first I didn't think I could do it. Then I did and I was pleased with the result. It's a effective way of writing that's for sure.

Kethry - now there you go again, mentioning Toerag but not 'Deer and I.  This is gettin' frustrating!  What's that?  You didn't mention Toerag?  Sure you did, in that last line - see it?  Ding dong -

I really like the poem, and the way you made it look like an airplane.  That was really cool - lol.  Seriously, though - I can see that you really worked on this poem, and your presentation was excellent.

your willingness to come back to these poetic structures indicates a level of masochism - I won't repeat - but you do it so beautifully - I will keep reading
