*Another one of my translations of A. Pushkin.

The final flowers are more dear
Than charming maidens in the field
And the dejected aspirations
They reawake in us with life
Thus sometimes separation’s strife
Is livelier than love’s occasions

Ah, yes, those final moments remembered can be 'more' than any prior moments. Hey, thanks to you I am really beginning to appreciate this Pushkin guy!! He seems to have his share of wisdom to impart!

This Pushkin guy in Russia is regarded as an equal to Shakespeare. He definitely has his share of wisdom! If you really want to be amazed, buy "Eugene Onegin." But before you buy it, read through it some of it, there are different translations and some may be better than others. I trully recommend it to you. I've read it in Russian and I was simply stunned!
