Having A Firm Grip On Wisdom My Aim

I may claim to have wisdom,
but I lack it’s powers.
I have experienced many a trial,
but have not moved past
the point of giving unnecessary
blood.

To fully understand wisdom
is to maintain it’s firm
grip even among the toughest
of adversary’s.

I’ve maintain this unsteady
position, having to
fight to not fall of the balance
beam that life is.

Not that I do not want to fully
grasp wisdom’s power and
control loss of my life force, but
something keeps me in a
holding position.

It could be that I do not except
the answers that lay in
front of me. These truths ask of
me to much, and so I
maintain in this realm of
upheaval.

To know the rights from the
wrongs, but deny
forward movement is to accept
its punishments.

So my fight goes on until that
day I am tried of the
abuse I willing let happen
from my adversary’s.

The fight will make the victory
so sweet when myself
empowered wisdom takes a
firm grip, and this day
I shall walk tall and proud,
firmly stanced.

"We're looking through a telescope, searching the stars for the answer, when the answer is actually a speck of dirt on the telescope's lens".  Jason Q.

We like to believe that have a firm grasp on wisdom, but is it the right wisdom that we cling to? We all want to learn and grow but there are many obstacles in the way, it is a struggle which you have explored beautifully in your poem. An amazing poem.
I love this image, "These truths ask of me to much, and so I maintain in this realm of upheaval."

I love the positive outlook in this! I feel sure that you will achieve whatever you set out to achieve.

Cerenity, my friend~
Your wisdom lies in a heart that feels and therefore you've crossed the plane of recognition.
Applying the wisdom you've gleaned is
only a heartbeat away.

Very wise thoughts you've penned, my friend.

I think we all should read this.  What I got from this is that things are never how we think they are.  How true that is!
I really enjoyed the truth in your words.
Thanks,
Lori

Hi Brian,
That line about the telescope good one. Yes your right which is the right wisdom, you know you got me on that one cause what my right is may not be someone else's. I guess thats the answer whats my right has to be what I want with in reason of so called normans. Thank you very much for your thoughts.

Hi ESP,
Thank you, I hope so too. My achievements seem to always be so challenging thats ok i'll make it RIGHT!!!!

Hi Marge,
Oh my friend movement is happening round here, alittle here, alittle there, and me well you have been such a blessing, Thank you so much.

Hi Lori,
Nice to meet you, Truth or wisdom both imply movement forward twards the positive. Key words being FORWARDS & POSITIVE and sometimes this can make us hold our movement still out of fear of the reactions we think will accure. Thanks Lori for your kind thoughts.

Love,  Cerenity

There are so many lessons in life ....some of them hurt, some are sad and some are wonderous and uplifting...but they all have something to teach us.  Wonderful poem, Cerenity!
