The Why of Sy Sy’s from why and I’m from why not He likes pie with whipped cream top Why’s desensitized from dreaming In Pandoras of non-stop All she did was dance a dance Around a fire of why not Why is mired in romance Of fire’s why’s and visions hot I don’t ask the whys of any Island treasure that I’ve got Such a venture’s horn of plenty Is a question of why not Dreamers dream and ships still wander In a sea of thoughts within Of Pandora’s quest they ponder Til their “why not” ship comes in Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 04-22-2000).] |
