Mother Earth show my worth
Hold me in your embrace
And crush me under the weight
Of your love, my fate
I need to know if I lived in vain
For what else is there?
But to allow myself to die this way
And return forlorn to the air
Long have I lived like this,
Eternal, the state I am in
My suffocation is my bliss
This knowledge is my sin
I need only to lie on your ground
And let you wrap me up
In wind with arms all around
Until I choose to give up
Oh Mother, please come and smother
Take me, your long lost something other
And crush me under the weight
Of love that feels like hate

"My suffocation is my bliss
This knowledge is my sin"

This is lovely and powerful writing! A poetic plethora of images and sensory submission. Beautiful, JML...

ahhhh the beauty of your words...
like a summer breeze I inhale them in...
like oxygen -- you are.
I choose not to exhale *S*
beautiful and perfect...intense as well
nature's beauty is this powerful...
excellent jer,
stalking you on earth,*S*
your jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

Well, what they said. Very powerful, I'm not sure exactly the message to be honest, maybe an acknowledge of my sins and take me to your justice, I accept my fate in your hands.
Way too powerful for my mind, and deep.
JML thank you for this submission, now I'm going to have to think all day.
Well not much worry there...
Challenge very well met.
