A Graceful Nature Moment
~Marge Tindal~

Stepped into the meadow
For one last look at the sun disappear
There appeared in front of me
One gorgeous six-point deer~

Steadily we gazed
Neither wary of the other’s eyes
He stood his ground … I stood mine
What a moment of delightful surprise~

Slowly he turned to walk away
With a nod of acceptance … that I
Could be in his meadow
And look him innocently in the eye~

I’ll be there on the morrow
Hoping he will return
Quietly to the meadow
With earnest heart, I yearn~

*Just happened and I am so excitedly psyched*
~Of course I didn't have the camera ... it was dusk~
~But, it's etched in my heart if anyone wants reprints~

What a magnificent creature and what a fantastic gift to be eye to eye with him.

Gosh, I hope you can get his picture ... but imprinted on your heart and on our blue pages is good too!

Hugs ...

Dear Marge:  I know how you feel, as I get excited every time I see a deer around here. Or a moose!  Or any wildlife for that matter.  It's always a thrill.  I'm so glad you had this experience.

I've been there done that and it is thrilling. Their eyes are so innocent looking it would be hard for me to be a hunter.

Many of my friends complain that deer come out of the woods to eat their roses.  I have open, cultivated fields around me so all I get are possums, racoons, mice.  I would love to welcome a deer even at the expense of a rose bush or two.  Love, Joyce

I read this, and it left me with the feeling that you walked away feeling a little touch of Gods hand with this encounter with one of His creation. The kind I feel when I see a newborn baby. What a wonder these touches of God are. Isn't it amazing the feeling you get!?

Marge~
This is just too cool, and I'm sooooo jealous!
It's been way too long since I was able to take a
walk through a meadow and just enjoy the wildlife.
You KNOW what an animal lover I am, and this just
gave me that yearning to just go 'away' somewhere,
out in the woods...just me and nature.
Makes me miss the days when I lived at the Grand Canyon.
Thanks for awakening the memories, my friend.
Love and hugs,
