Often I said I'm a loner,
I once said who needs friends,
When I really feel blues.

Often my views are blues,
Blues not because of less foretunate
But I frown for my lacking
Quailities in You.

I'm blue because I don't love;
I want quiet evening from the phone.
I'm blue because I don't share;
Because evil is eating up my soul.

I should be in my most grateful years,
I should be singing in my most joyful songs.
Yet my earthly will
Is eating up my heart.

Once I was pretty
But not anymore...
Once my views were cheerful,
Now I can only see blues in eyes.

I'm blue because I don't love;
I want quiet evening from the phone.
I'm blue because I don't share;
Because evil is eating up my soul.

But who dare say they don't need love?
Yet love is giving to be loved.
It seems like I have my answer,
But really I need You...

To change my heart, renew my soul.

Sometimes reaching out is the only way to find the light that will shine through the blues.
