Sitting here humdrum
Watching the sun rise at dawn
Grieving for lost love

Moments forever
Vanished into sentenced past
Struggling dreams fade

Whispers in weakness
Images racing inside
Dried roses fade black

As wind thrashes mind
Lips coerce unsearchable
Emptiness filled room

Aching rocking sounds
Storm through as demon lay nigh
Fingers tip-tapping

Solemn of softness
Angels gather at my feet
At first brink of thought

Snapshots at heaven
While sleepiness comforts me
Blanket falls surround
