Taking Chance in October (c) Eliza Simmons, Sept 30, 2002

September, the sign of fall,
is soon to be passed away.
October, her sister,
is going to take place soon.
Old dreams seem to be too vague,
Too fragile for the cold wind.
New dreams seem to be too rare,
Too lost to be find in dust.
Same old dreams, I need to give it up.
I need to start a new trail.
The sun...seems to be...far away.
I'm getting... all cold,
Even sunlight seems like not enough.
Same old talks, but I can't find new dreams
When I'm chatting old dreams.

Eliza Simmons
~Sometimes when I look back at what I wrote, I don't recognize the 'Me' in the past anymore.regardless our beliefs.

Eliza:  Hope you find those new dreams to carry you through the winter. Like your poem very much.

Winter does sometimes bring on the blues. Keep on writing and the blues will go away.

Thanks,
Melton
