The Night Was Alone

The night was alone
till a star slit the abyss
hurled by the hand of God
the creator spoke and many followed
in hot pursuit bursting in the sky
diamonds of joy and light
journey with the winds
and hang on words of promise
from silvery moon’s
and the angels know the rest

BloomingRose, I like the line, "and the angels know the rest".  That holds so much promise.  I believe in the angels.  Lovely words,  ME

Blooming Rose:  Fine poem.  Has a haunting quality but in a good way!
