Fragile Little Girl
~*~
How distant is the moon from her eye?
it’s beams reach to be her guide
begging her to cross the sea of forgetfulness
her fragile heart is a limpid pool of glass
full of beauty
afraid to see the light
she fumbles for her past
wrapped in knots
she plunges into her closet of fear
a glimmer of light awaits her there
she just doesn’t know
how beautiful a rose can be in the moonlight
how melodious is the morning dew
dripping from shimmering rose petals
how golden are beams of sunlight!
hold fast says the moon to the little girl
the battle is the Lords
not yours
were coming out of the darkness

BloomingRose, this digs very deep. And then when it is through the eyes of a child, it goes even deeper.  God, how it hurts!  I pray for comfort,  ME

I think you know this fragile child very well. There is a bit of her in all of us at one time or another but we are stronger than we think.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

I do remember being that little girl. You have described it very well.

"How beautiful a rose can be at midnight"

Oh, thank you

yes, coming out of the dark,
and the battle IS the Lords.

Bless you!
