You're my beloved, every breath to me
the flash of a forever lover’s plead
a wave of life from 'neath the depths of sea
a recompense to fill my every need.
My Love, you hold the conscience of the moon
unbraided ribbons fall in your embrace
and I, transfigured, sing within our tune
a melody of sweet resounding grace!
Please turn to meet my gaze in dawning light
and love me in a sigh within a kiss
then come to me past morn into the night
and take me into captured haunting bliss.
You’re my beloved, you are mine indeed
the only part of heaven that I need.

Dear Kathleen; Sigh...So exquisitely romantic..beautiful sonnet, a work of art, indeed! Hugs, Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Thank you so much.  I wrote so many and then had a kind of writer's block but maybe someday soon I will write another sonnet.
