Sometimes when I...need peace of mind, I close my eyes...and there I do find a sweet relief. Oh, you know that I do. All by myself...just thinking of you. At every side...the worries of life, bombard my soul with trouble and strife. Others believe...I'll not make it through. I simply sail on...just thinking of you. Many a time...dreams have come to an end. I've said good-bye...to many a friend. When sorrow attempts...my heart to sink, I take a deep breath...and of you I do think. My eyes have been blinded...by many a tear. This heart has been burdened by the weight of fear. In the snare of enemies...I have been caught. But I have been freed...by one single thought. I've walked away...when flesh wanted to fight and I've wandered lost...in the dark of the night. Not lost for too long..the day light breaks through. Once again saved...by thinking of you. If you're ever alone...in need of some peace. If you have troubles...that never cease. I'll wipe the tears...so your eyes can see. Just close your eyes...and be thinking of me. --You can either take me as I am...or you can watch me as I go.-- |

Tennessee Angel, This writing of yours is absolutely beautiful, has touched my heart, and also has my vote. I cannot express how much I liked it, especially the following verses. "I've walked away...when flesh wanted to fight and I've wandered lost...in the dark of the night. Not lost for too long..the day light breaks through. Once again saved...by thinking of you.
