The radio tells me that help is round the corner,
Apparently waiting for the solitary mourner.
I listen to the radio, listening for a clue
Because nobody else seems to know what to do.
But my musical friend has failed to deliver
So I sink into my blanket, starting to shiver.
I think about my parachute and her gorgeous lifting ways,
How I cut the strings, what a thing to do, it plagues me every day.
Consoled to my loss by the lack of friction sparks
I drift off to "Life Is For Living" as the world outside draws dark.
And a voice is telling me now, "Don't Panic!"
We never change, so see if you can plan it,
Everything's not lost, you could still end up together
Maybe next time, it'll last forever.
