stuck at home with nothing to do
always online, or watching tv
never anything to do
all because my mom works
my dad works too
and so does my sister
so guess whos stuck at home
in the middle of no where
no bike
no friends
too far away for people to come over
too far away for me to go to friends
no one likes coming over
they say its too far away
i dont like it much either
im in a different school zone
dont know anyone
only old people all around me
so i usually just sit at home
all by myself
my mom tells me
"dont say that you never get to do anything"
she says "she knows" that i do whatever i want
well its not exactly like that
see, i DO sit at home
on weekdays
on weekends, shes home
but shes always stressed about something
never wanting to take me anywhere
always giving me attitude
or a "uggh" that she doesnt want to do anything
nothing for me
it may sound selfish
but no one can see
i do all the work around the house
clean up after my sister
after my mom
sometimes i get money
but it all goes back to my sister
my sister is another issue
she takes everything of mine
from my shoes to my underwear
my toothbrush to my money
she never knows when to stop
and i cant stop her
i have a lock on my door
i usually stay in my room
just lay on my couch
watch tv
think about life
strum my guitar
how much longer do i have to live like this?
only a couple more years
because soon
I will be the one driving
not sitting on my couch
watching tv
not stuck at home

How come no one replied to this? It's a great piece of writing filled with emotion. the search of wondering how you're stuck drew me in and I'm glad you shared this. Well, at least you have the internet to post your awesome poems on
