I Lost A Friend By Jessica DeMaio The bond created by honesty, love, and dreams… A fallen star touched my heart… A wish I made so long ago came true… Secrets and kisses… I met you… I met your eyes… Your heart… Your life… I thought I met the man of all my dreams… I was mistaken… Tears heavily stream… A shattered heart glistened my floor… A vivid memory overflowed my head… Soon I awakened to the sound of the door… SLAM… Our love was no more… Officially no end… But in my heart times have disappeared… I turn to each friend… They listen with open ears… I can’t rely… Or even begin to supply love… For a man who can’t even give me a call… I fell quickly for him… I am beginning to pick up from that fall… The fall of love… Of splendid memories… Of Joy… Dreams… Kisses… You were always there to catch my fall… But where were you during the fall of heartbreak…? Everything has an end… But all most remember, That I didn’t only lose a love… I lost a friend… |

sweetpoet~~~what can i say???this is a really good poem...but these are the consequences of life we go through...breaking hearts and getting our hearts broken...but see you didnt really lose a friend it seems like you gave up on the friendship you had with this person when yous broke up...you can put the pieces back together and rebuild this friendship but thats only if you want... ~No one is worth your tears, and the one who is wont make you cry~ ~We all cant be stars but we all can twinkle~ |
