~ If you've read Chel's TERRIFIED, then you know where this comes from.  I happened to be in the car at the time, and this is sort of a dedication to her~

She loves to drive around the parking lot,
circle after circle,
practicing her parking and reverse,
knowing she could handle it.
Not even the accidents from before,
one not so long ago,
could stop her or take driving away
because she knew about the shock.
With the kids chanting YES!,
going against her confidence,
she drove slowly over the rocks
looking at the passing sight,
not letting it get to her nerves.
Even after she knew the truth,
it was fear of what would come,
knowing the vehicle was not hers,
but the damage was,
and instantly she gave up driving forever,
blaming it on the broken tombstone
sitting in the graveyard.

Boy you two were lucky ... so glad you're BOTH OK!    Writing sure helps soften the fears though doesn't it?  Keep up the great work!

Best wishes,
/Kit

I know how the two of you feel. I've been in the car when things like this have happened. Even been in a "roll-over accident" the sad thing to my story is that drinking was invloved. No one was too badly hurt...THANK GOD!! but the regrets will always be there. I'm so glad you guys are ok!! Keep up the wonderful writing!! Love Always~*~Jessica~*~
