I sit in the corner
Waiting for you
But what am I waiting for?
Is it love so true?
Yet another day goes by
Another lonely night
Living in my dreams
With nothing more in sight

Once there was a darkness
Deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had
Ahhhhhh you gave me light

Even though a short poem, it says much... well written

OK, DkW...out of that corner, onto the floor.  Come dance with me.  Don't hide your love in darkness....Hardrock  (oh yeah, loved the poem....)

Good question, "What am I waiting for?" I ask the same thing.
Very to the point..

Very nice, but very sad.

"Looking to the future we envisage the towering peaks of our dreams; the golden valleys of opportunity and fullfillment.  Dwelling on the past we dip into the dark well of memories to drink deep of regret and failure.  In the trice we taste of the eolian vicissitudes of living.  Never lose the vision of your dreams...lest they haunt all your yesterdays!"   ...Rex...

enjoyed the read. i like your work very much and love it all as well. so do keep the coming and say out of that corner cause it can get cramped.

DKW, how sad. I'm sure someone will come by your corner sooner or later! (I like corners, too, they're kind of cosy!)

Dark_kisses,
And I thought your journey was going well..
I hope this fellow realizes your love and sees what he's missing
