All around the lights go out
Suspended in the single moment
What i was what i became
A mystery inside reality

Are you really out there
My Ghost needs substance
Why do we need this
now it has happened

We who are worlds apart
We the lonely the dispossesed
Now can we be alone
out in the spaces between the darkness

Here i am deaf a thousand ideas
drowned out by the screams
Voices proclaim Freedom in steel
Yet the mind remains trapped in essence

leave me now down here
in my darkness a souls torment
i wish the peace of the dead
with which to think

Vanguard of the New Movement

Behind his polished cedar desk,
surrounded by his phones,
Sits Blazer Dyke(The yachting type),
The vanguard of the clones.
The Archetype,
The number one,The vanguard of the clones.

Crossing over busy street,
where noisy traffic drones,
Walks Blazer Dyke (without a bike),
The vanguard of the clones.
The autocrat,
The ectomorph,
The vanguard of the clones.

He strides across the cobbled yard,
Where pawn shops offer loans,
That Blazer Dyke (Whom i dislike),
The vanguard of the clones.
The cannibal,
The parasite,
The vanguard of the clones.

He passes through the wicket gate,
To churhyards full of bones,
That Blazer Dyke (on a midnight hike),
The vanguard of the clones.
The necrophile,
The narcissist,
The coprophage,
The sybarite,
The telepath,
The Anti-Christ,
The vanguard of the clones.

much emotion in this darkly strong piece walter ...
Im looking hard for that light,
yes sometimes the voices do make us
wish for silence in our minds...
one good thing about being a poet ...
we can always write ourselves another page...
pleased to see a post from you ...
(did I give you a choice) *smile* thank you
take care my poetic friend

baby dont you work so hard
for this prize you've found,
it will all be gone-when you turn around,
cause nothing lasts forever anyway.

all around the lights go down ...
still I see you in the dark
not a ghost, nor a shadow ...
a poet ... whose words create a spark

words to express the sorrow ...
verse to express the pain
Poets words are like whispers ...
by poets pen, your voice to reclaim

find your comfort in the silence ...
find solace in the night
turn the page on tomorrow ...
follow your poets heart in to the light
