This is a poem a friend wrote.. I liked it so I thought (after asking him lol) I would post it

Love
The very word attracts me
Like a moth to a lamp
But unlike the moth
Whose life will soon end
I will continue on
To enjoy the pleasure masked in pain
Not realizing the destructive force it is
Many will tell me
You will find a special some one
And then you will be happy
But when that happens
I’ll not know
For I am cold
A reptile
And when the heat of the lamp hits
I hide

If I should fall again, then they will laugh but what if just this one I rise?

rosepetals25...
              Your friend writes wonderful
             verse that makes one think!!!
I liked how he described love
             as destructive....too often we
forget how rough it can be!!
                 Tell your friend I
                   enjoyed his writing!!

I have but one goal in
life.........
To make you smile!
