She is a fire that burns me
With flames fatal to the touch
Like ice I need to melt sometimes
Her burning burns me so much

I can't help but feed her fire
Until her flames engulf me
I can't help risking desire
Until blindness; I cannot see

She is a fire that burns me
Yet I do welcome the heat
As I stand upon the sun
And smile, though she blisters my feet

I know not why she burns thus;
And I endure the anguish
I know not why it would kill
If the flames are extinguished

She is a fire that burns me
I ignite, and together,
Are consumed with the passion
That burns us forever

I enjoyed the fire/ice theme you've come up with here, and with so many wonderful phrases...this is just lovely.
