Don't stand there
with your head held high
and laugh at me
when i break down and cry.

You think you're better
than the average Joe,
but you'll only reak
of the evil you sow.

*chorus*
the tears pour down like rain
runnin' through my soul.
They leave their path of pain
and turn my heart to stone.
(repeat)***************

I gav you my heart
and you took it with pride.
you don't give a damn
'bout how i feel inside.

I want to hold you
but you turn away.
I beg you not to go,
but you refuse to stay.

*chorus*

This song was written April 15th, 1999 for my friends band..it was inspired by my own break up with a beau..the tune of this song was set to a tune that his band already had...they didn't like the origional lyrics.)

"Some people aren't worth a puddle of ant pee in the middle of a dessert when it's 100 degrees in the shade." -me
