don't you see
why your life's a mess?
don't you see
why you hurt?
don't you see
that there's some things
you can't control?

don't you see
your love is gone?
don't you see
that you were wrong?
don't you see
that some wounds
may not ever mend?

don't you see
the pain you cause?
don't you see
how much they hurt?
don't you see
that your actions
roar far more than words?

don't you see
you can't buy love?
don't you see
why you fail?
don't you see
with lies and abuse
you won't ever prevail?

this was written for someone i know who is usuin' my beau...it was writen on Jan. 25, 2000, my first posted poem of the millenium.

People like this may sometimes seem to prevail but they won't forever. Wonderful poem!
