I'm just trying to see if other people dream about the same things as I do.

we do Brian. . . even when we're old. . . like me. . .

I'd like to be known for my two sets of "Passions Gallery" poems. . . I can see them, published in a book someday, with either pictures of the people who inspired them, or perhaps, words from them, something to leave behind to the future. . .

what poets from my time will I be associated with?  hopefully, as many I as can be associated with. . .lol. . .

a write-up?  wow. . . that's going to take some thinking here. . . I'll get back to you on that one. . .

I remember your gallery poems, Sven.  In fact, now that you're back, maybe you should consider adding a few faces... since you've been gone, the roster of piptalk has changed considerably... many new members who have risen to their height and made a definite impact.

Me? In a textbook? 100 years from now?  Are you kidding?  Who would want to read about me?  (Seriously though)

Wow... long topic. Okay.

I guess... what would mean the most to me would be to know that I changed just one persons life and made it a little better. That even if the world doesn't know who I am, I meant the world to one person.

As for a poem I'd like remembered... I don't think I've written it yet.

My dreams? At the moment, they're trapped in a tangle of fears. So I guess my most important dream right now is being able to live normally again.

You know what Brian my dream has been answered just being part of Passions yanno.  I know I can't write like some others can in here, but what I do comes from somewhere inside of me, and it screams to get out sometimes.  I wanted to have even one little poem in a book that my granddaughters could hold in their hands one day and say, "my Gramma wrote this for me when I was four."  My best fan is my 4 year old granddaughter who insists my poetry be read at bedtime and can rhyme better than I can on any given day, but she thinks I am just fantastic.  Dream - well, I dream that one day she will remember these days, and the poetry I wrote at Passions and read to her when she had sleepovers, nothing earth-shattering I am afraid, but nonetheless that was my dream.

Good question by the way, and I always say, if you dream, make sure that you dream big.  By the way, I do believe some of you will be studied one day if you put your effort into it, and that is what I will dream for some of you.

I like this idea. One hundred years from now...to be remembered...wouldnt that make a wonderful challenge?
Anyway...my dream right now, however mundane it may seem, is to finish college and become a nurse. Doesnt seem like to much to dream for huh?
As for the poetry? I have never considered myself a poet...I write because I have to. I dont know one form of poetry from another. I just know there are times that it is just painful to not be able to put words on paper.
As far as poems...I like this one http://piptalk.com/pip/Forum44/HTML/002582.html.

My poetry will remain hidden, a lost book in the dirt. I have only intention of sharing with those who truely care.

Trust me, you will all find out my dreams sooner or later.

Bless your cotten sockies, you poetic maniacs. ^_^
