Mommy went to heaven
but I need her here today
My tummy hurts and I fell down
I need her right away

Operator can you tell me how
to find her in this book?
Is heaven in the yellow part?
I don't know where to look

I think my daddy needs her too
at night I hear him cry
I hear him call her name sometimes
but I really don't know why

Maybe if I call her,
she will hurry home to me
Is Heaven very far away
Is it across the sea?

She's been gone for a long,long time
she needs to come home now!
I really need to reach her
I simply don't know how

Help me find the number please,
is it listed under "Heaven"?
I can't read these big big words
I am only seven

I'm sorry operator,
I didn't mean to make you cry,
Is your tummy hurting too?
or is something in your eye?

If I call my church
maybe they will know
Mommey said when we need help
that's where we should go

I found the number to my church
tacked up on the wall
Thank you operator,
I'll give them a call

*****If i can't find the author I would like to edit this story into a song (smile)

We seem to be having a discussion about poems posted on other sites, either from authors here [without their permission] or others who have posted to the Main Site at Passions.

I found the above poem here
http://fp5.in-tch.com/www.fathershands.com/yellowpages/

but for some reason, I get the feeling I have read it here, before, by someone else. Redwriter, I am moving this to the Alley for further discussion. Thanks.

I recall reading it as well, but I'm not sure if it was
here or if someone emailed it to me.

I read it before too, it was emailed to me and it might have come from Yahoo.

This poem just made me cry

"So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this give life to thee." W.S.

using smart search here in pip, it seems like it's been posted twice here in passions. one in open#6 and the other in teen#2. Both poster's say it's not their poem and just wanted to share it....so it's still anonymous

"So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this give life to thee." W.S.

I've gotten this one through emails many times. Though I don't know the author of it.

Looks like redwriter found a ghostwriter
