I came into this world silent The only baby who didn't cry When awoken to the world I was breath taken, Swept away All things were big and wonderful In my giant, innocent, blue eyes Staring at my mother Holding me in her arms Staring at my father Taking his turn To hold his new baby girl To this day I'm still quiet With no words that need to be spoken Still starting at wild amazment In the world in which I live [This message has been edited by JOY 14 (edited 07-28-2000).] |
