Simple Things

I strain to hear,
The simple sounds.
Like the rain falling down.

I long to feel,
The simple touch.
Like the sun and all it's love.

Sometimes its not,
Easy to see.
The wonderful beauty in simple things.

Kevin, Wow, this poem speaks volumes with so little words. You've captured the simplicity of life, yet shown it's complicated side also. Thanks for sharing this, I love it.

I love this, kaile.. such a great poem.. yeah, the simple things in life are beautiful, but often ones eye skips over them..
